Christianity is not self-improvement, moral polishing, or religious performance. It is the announcement that God saves sinners through the death and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to Scripture, man is fallen, unable to restore himself, and accountable before a holy God. Out of mercy, God sent Jesus Christ to live the life we could not live and to bear the judgment we deserved. Salvation is not earned, negotiated, or maintained by human effort. It is received by faith alone in Christ alone.
Christianity, rightly understood, begins and ends with the grace of God.
True strength begins not in pride, anger or self fulfillment in the world, but in humble worship, steadfast obedience, and Christian discipline.
“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” - Matt. 5:14–16
